Elijah

Elijah was our eldest child and only son. He was a joker and loved to make everyone laugh. Elijah was polite, easy going, observant, very social, compassionate, and could be competitive. Making friends came easily for him, and he was a natural leader. He loved watching the Food Network, and giving his mom tips in the kitchen. We would always get compliments on how well-mannered he was. He made good grades and loved sports. He participated in taekwondo, basketball and baseball, but football was his first love. He loved playing XBOX with his online friends, and was fascinated by all things weather related. Elijah planned on attending UCLA to study Meteorology. At the age of 9, due to a faint and family history, Elijah was diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome through genetic testing. He never had any other symptoms, and was treated by an
Electrophysiologist. On October 22, 2013 everything changed, and our world lost its color. At only 11 years old, while playing at school. Elijah passed away from Sudden Cardiac Arrest due to Long QT Syndrome. A bright light with a hopeful future suddenly gone.

We think of you as living, in the hearts of those you’ve touched. For nothing loved is ever lost, and you were loved so much.
